Leather Animals

Omersa and Company is known for its collection of handmade leather animal footstools and desk top accessories - the Omersa Collection. They've been made in England since 1927. I've liked them since I was a child and saw them at Abercrombie & Fitch. Edie Sedwick was also a fan.

Al Mar

Al Mar makes the perfect pocket knife. Made in Japan, the Hawk is a design from 1979 that's a combination of refined and organic. Eight available handle materials to suit your style (stag shown above). The leather pouch is also a nice addition.

McIntosh

McIntosh Laboratory still makes their audio components in Binghamton, NY as they have since the 1950's. Tube equipment is still being produced (with updated circuitry) with an appearance virtually unchanged from the original. I like the 2100 amplifier shown above. Great sound and looks. Built like a tank.

Great Writers

I like pens. An article by George Nelson called Great Writers published by Harpers magazine got me into them. His favorite writing instruments are shown. I'd add the Parker 75. (on the far right).

L.L. Bean Totes

L.L. Bean used to make a lot of great products in Maine. Well, their canvas totes are still Maine made, and great. You can get them in customized colors which is pretty cool.
